A War Within

I can't tell you how many times my thought process has sabotaged my happiness and success. There was a real spiritual battle going on, but it was mainly with myself. The most dangerous fight when you're in a battle is fighting with an enemy you can't see. Until you can see your enemy and pinpoint the location and plan of your enemy, is when you can target and defeat it.

I once heard Bishop T.D. Jakes talk about the energy that you deplete when you are fighting the air. In other words he was saying, sometimes you are exhausted because it takes just as much energy fighting yourself, than it does when there is a real enemy involved.

What I'm trying to say is, make sure you are not stuck fighting a losing battle against you. Once you conquer your own behaviors; procrastination, self doubt, fear, unbelief, low self- worth and under valuing who you are, Your capacity to receive is now opened. You are now ready for an opened door to receive blessings, abundance, peace and forward movement from God.

"Yes, I'm full of myself- afterall I've spent a long time in sins prison. What I don't understand about myself is I decide one way, but then I act another, doing things I absolutely despise. So if I can't figure out what's best for myself and then do it, it becomes obvious that God's command is necessary." (Roman's 7:14-16) MSG Bible
